Empowering others to understand and assert their legal rights through peer-led and self-advocacy.
What is People 4 People?
Our mission is to create a supportive space where people with disabilities can learn to advocate for themselves and use their voices to push for equal opportunity. In our group, we help you contact government officials, write letters, make phone calls, and participate in special events—such as traveling to the State Capitol in Montgomery to meet with legislators—or figure out how to stand up for your rights in everyday life.
Whether you’re newly injured or years into your journey, you’ll find encouragement, accountability, and a community
that is understanding of your disability. To learn more, please see our Contact page or talk with our coordinator,
Brian Johnson, at the next meeting.
People 4 People group meets on the second Monday of every month at 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Please call to confirm the date,
as we occasionally change the date due to holidays or speaker availability.
PEOPLE 4 PEOPLE WILL NOT MEET IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2025!!!
THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE HELD ON: December 8th, 2025 for the annual Christmas holiday party.
